Our Story

The Fullerton Service League of Boys (and yes - that would be S.L.O.B.s!) was founded in 2015 by a group of parents who were looking for meaningful, hands-on service opportunities for their high school age sons. Fullerton takes pride in a long tradition of community involvement. For many years, local service organizations had provided ample volunteer opportunities for girls; our boys, however, had often found it challenging to give back in ways that both appealed to their interests and fit into their schedules. To meet this need, the Fullerton S.L.O.B.s began establishing relationships to connect high school boys and their parents with many local organizations who welcomed their assistance.

Since its founding, Fullerton S.L.O.B.s has grown from annual membership of around 30 boys to almost 100, and we have volunteered over 6,000 hours of community service.
